Ulster County Photography Club (UCPC) began in late 2005 as a forum for
local photographers of varying levels of expertise including beginners
and the more advanced. The club provides a community for photographers
in which there is the opportunity for discussion, networking, and
growth. Competitions and
critiques have become standard activities at our meetings; participants find the
feedback they receive as well as the opportunity to assess other’s works to be invaluable. We also have a extensive list of Guest Speakers who regularly present, and we are now linked to the Hudson Valley Photography Network.
Our Mission Statement:
The Club shall provide a forum for discussion and networking for its membership. It will focus on individual and common needs, expertise and interest, thereby establishing a resource for learning and improving all aspects of photography, including but not limited to equipment, shooting techniques, editing, and printing. It shall be a community of photographers whose degree of expertise is varied, but whose willingness to contribute and assist others in the club is a given.
