The Ulster County Photography Club is a group of community members that share a passion for photography and a common commitment to grow as photographers. UCPC will nurture this growth through education, discussion, competitions, image sharing and photographic opportunities. As colleagues, club members will be a resource to one another by addressing individual and common needs including, but not limited to: artistry, image enhancement, printing, and technical skills.
UCPC considers applications for membership throughout the year. Members are required to attend a minimum of two meetings in a year in order to be considered active. Active members are eligible to participate in the club’s annual exhibit ( at the Duck Pond Gallery) and may submit one photograph, and/or participate in our quarterly exhibits at the Town of Esopus Town Hall. (A modest hanging fee is assessed)
We meet the second Wednesday of each month
beginning at 6:30 PM (downstairs) at the Town of Esopus Library
28 Canal Street
Port Ewen, NY
Our activities include, but are not limited to competitions, critiques, exhibitions, photo shoots, discussions, guest presentations, and member photo-sharing. UCPC recognizes the importance of interconnection, and as such, seeks opportunities to affiliate with other community and photographic organizations. For example, we maintain a long standing relationship with the Town of Esopus Library as a library-sponsored organization, coordinate with the Town of Esopus Town Hall with quarterly photography exhibits and community events coverage, and we are a part of the Hudson Valley Photography Network ( hvphotonet).
